LO 007 – My Heart Belongs to You
Yes this is the one that I re-did. That explains why it is simple.
Like the way my photo turns out? Visit Walholizer, but just to let you know I edited mine in case you wonder why did mine have an original in the middle. 🙂
What’s the next challenge? Hmms.
Scrapmojo Challenge 30 Peeks
Ok. I admit I made a HUGE MESS. Who cares? Which human doesn’t make mistakes?? Anyway, a peek of my mess on this LO for Scrapmojo Challenge 30.
I made a mess on the LO and my hands. >< I am having trouble getting the paint off my hands.
Lace, Glorious Lace
I stumbled upon a new challenge when I was “hopping” around the links in my blog yesterday. The Art Is Found (TAIF) is now into this elegant lovely item, “Lace”. As mentioned in my previous post, I am in love with lace and would create something from it. So I thought, “Why not try it out and at the same time acheive my goal.”. And VIOLA! 🙂
I grabbed an notebook that has been laying around my tray for a good few months and wrap it up with left over pattern papers. I perfect the joining of 2 pattern papers with sticker ribbon.
Hand-sew the lace into flower and played around with some beads and a button.
And the lace strap! I *hearts* the purple.
Attached some Velcro for the closure…
A peek inside: it is still brand new empty notebook!
Lace is a wonderful and amazing supply to work with. 😀
Dream Girls Challenge 21 : Clearly Yours
Dream Girls Challenge 21: Clearly Yours; Have you challenged yet?
It is definitely FUN for this LO, my 5th LO. Still the same old Janet pattern to hand cut and hand make embellishments and alphabets. Hand sew lace and use glitter papers. The challenge is to use a CLEAR BACKGROUND and the twist is to use word like Yours, You, You’re etc. Fun fun fun!
Enjoy! To see clearer images, please visit my Flickr Gallery. 😆

SOL CHALLENGE – Layering w/o Pattern Papers
WOOHOO! Okay, once again I rushed to the very last minute of dateline and submitted my third LO. 😆
The LO of the week is:
The twist of the challenge is to not use any pattern paper bought but to create your own paper paper.
As I am still new at scrapping, I do not own any stamps, therefore I used acrylic paint to create my own pattern paper. 🙂
Here are the works:
And here are the close ups of some handmade pattern papers:
I hand painted the sakura and outline it with gold paint.
I got this idea from scallop papers as the one I have is plain yet the scallop sides gives it a little design and VIOLA! 😉
SOL CHALLENGE – What I've Learned in 2008
I’ve completed my second layout! *joy* I rushed through it yesterday as I did not know that the dateline is today! 😛 Anyway, I’ve completed it and let’s not talk more; here are the photos:
All the paper embellishments are HAND-CUT by me and it is my 1st time distressing paper for LO and hand write journaling. 😀 I *Heart* the blings, glitter, ribbon and lace.
