LO 017 – Sweet Love

NEW LO! 😀

After 5 months since my last LO… I finally scrapbook once again! It’s so exciting and fun! Though I almost forgot how to distress my paper 😛 !
Regarding this LO, I used my recent honeymoon photo from Hokkaido, Japan. It is at a place called Furano, which is popular for its’ rolling hills.

This Month

I’ve been planning a number of things. Like starting some nice projects and stuff, which is good, as I have taken a break for about a month.

As remembered, last month I’ve just received my long waited package. (: Mothers Day Glimmer Kit from Tattered Angels, which arrived slightly later after Mothers Day. Well, I could put it to other use ( actually planned that way) like albums on moments etc.

And I placed an order for 2 kits from Vintage Plum this month, April 2009 Kit – Hopscotch & May 2009 Kit – Primary School Summers plus some add-ons.

These should last me for about a month, i hope. =X I can never get enough of them and I’ve already set my eyes on the next items on my purchase list. I eyed on Karaku’s Wooden trunk boxed – Alphabets Stamps & Wooden trunk boxed – Number and Sign Stamps and Tattered Angels’ Nature Glimmer Kit.

LO 013 – Playmate

Scrap Mojo Challenge 32 is about your imaginary friend and to take inspiration from animal crackers box.

I’ve always played with soft toys and dolls. I talk to them, played with them and bring them everywhere I go. Though I do not have the photo of the toys I used to play, but I do have a triangel photo that I recently bought. Recent as in a year or so. 🙂 So here’s my take:

I used Dina Wakley’s Art Journaling 101 techniques. Background colors inspired by the colors of animal crackers box, which turn out quite matching to my topic and I’m loving it~! 😀
